Over the past 18 months I’ve been following the journey of Ogilvy Vodka’s tatties, starting at the first step of production when the potato seeds are planted, all the way through to the bottling of the vodka. I shot a combination of aerial / drone shots and a lot of stabilised ground shots shooting at […]
Since making Beautiful and Wild Scotland I’ve been wondering what my next personal project will be and finally I’ve found one! A few months ago an archive producer got in touch from Trainspotting 2 asking about using the deer shots from Wild Scotland. Absolutely stoked to see the shot used in the film. It’s projected onto wall during a trippy sequence where it’s been flipped upside down.
I had a great few days filming aerials north of Inverness with the Edinburgh film company. The drone was able to get great shots of the machinery from a birds eye view nestled in the forest. .
I was asked again by The Rawk Agency to create a film for a party of Russians coming to Scotland to experience the John Dewars brand. We spent 2 days following the party as they enjoyed a tour around the distillery as well as a load of other activities, including a BBQ at the top of […]
I was in Forfar last week filming with the drone again capturing shots as Ogilvy Vodka started to plant their potatoes at the start of the season. I got a combination of aerial shots along with normal filming on the ground with the Sony a7sii .

Despite from horrid weather we got some great shots! .
I’m over the moon that my film Wild Scotland won the landscape category at the New York City Drone Film Festival. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it over to New York to accept the amazing award but looking forward to receiving it in the post! The festival received 350 film submissions from 45 countries and considering […]
