This is the 2nd project I’ve been involved with helping Fujifilm promote one of their new products. The new Fujifilm XE3 is a compact camera aimed at enthusiasts who enjoy sharing their stories on Instagram. Poetic Mouse is run by Darren Brogan who lives locally in Fife. He got his hands on one of the new cameras […]
For years I’ve thought I’d love to do work for the RNLI and a few months ago they got in touch about a couple of projects. This is the first project about a young lad called Evan. Evan and his mates were at the beach when a rogue wave dragged him out into a strong […]
Very proud of my latest work for Fujifilm UK, promoting their new GF 23mm lens. So pleased with how this all came together!! We shot this up in Assynt with some fairly dreeech Scottish weather thrown into the mix. Fuji wanted to shoot somewhere in the highlands and Assynt was perfect as it hasn’t been shot […]
I was working with Boundless Productions over the weekend helping them capture aerial shots with the drone as they filmed House of the Year for Grand Designs. The house was up near Plockton and it was situated in an ideal position to use the drone to capture GV shots. We used the drone to capture […]
I’m currently producing some branded content for Fuji film to help launch a new lens. The focus of the film will be about a photographer’s approach to shooting landscapes with the lens. After spending a good amount of time researching the location for the shoot, we decided Assynt in the North West highlands would be […]
I’ve been working with the Scottish Episcopal Church for the last few years now, mainly filming interviews with their Bishops. Towards the start of the year we started planning a video which would act an insight into breadth of work the church is involved in with the aim of attracting new members. Pre-production is important […]
Over the past 18 months I’ve been following the journey of Ogilvy Vodka’s tatties, starting at the first step of production when the potato seeds are planted, all the way through to the bottling of the vodka. I shot a combination of aerial / drone shots and a lot of stabilised ground shots shooting at […]
Since making Beautiful and Wild Scotland I’ve been wondering what my next personal project will be and finally I’ve found one! Since finding out that I live on the site of a former flour mill just off Ferry Road I’ve been loving looking at old pictures of Edinburgh on the likes of Lost Edinburgh and the […]
A few months ago an archive producer got in touch from Trainspotting 2 asking about using the deer shots from Wild Scotland. Absolutely stoked to see the shot used in the film. It’s projected onto wall during a trippy sequence where it’s been flipped upside down.
I had a great few days filming aerials north of Inverness with the Edinburgh film company. The drone was able to get great shots of the machinery from a birds eye view nestled in the forest. .
