Kingsbarn Distillery Promotional video

I was delighted when Kingsbarns Distillery approached me to produce a film to celebrate the release of their first batch of Whiskey. This was a big event for the distillery as the first batch of Whisky can now be bottled – given the occasion I knew I had to produce a film to do it justice!

The client drafted a rough script which was then refined – based on this I then asked Peter the distiller questions which would provide the response we were after, this allows a much more natural response rather than Peter reading from the script. We spent the morning in the doocot with Peter filming the piece to camera and the afternoon was spent picking up general visual shots around the distillery. As the distillery was in production we had to work around the times allocated to us – as I had previously been to the site to recce, I knew where and when we needed to be to get the shots.

The client was very happy with the final result and after sharing across all their social media platforms, the feedback from the public was also very positive!
