Edinburgh Film Project

Since making Beautiful and Wild Scotland I’ve been wondering what my next personal project will be and finally I’ve found one!

Since finding out that I live on the site of a former flour mill just off Ferry Road I’ve been loving looking at old pictures of Edinburgh on the likes of Lost Edinburgh and the Spirit of Leithers Facebook pages. I’ve been scouring the internet looking for the best old pictures of Edinburgh and there are some absolute beauts! The idea is use an animation technique to bring these pictures alive and recording people’s stories who grew up back in the day.
