Edinburgh Video Production – ScotPlant / Ingliston / Edinburgh / Scotland

Working yesterday for Glasgow based video production company ‘Mallard Productions’. They are producing a video for ScotPlant – a construction trade show at Ingliston, Edinburgh. I shot a mix of interviews with the exhibitors and GV shots around the show.

Despite the wireless mics being on a random frequency, it was total coincidence the show grounds wireless mics were on the same frequency, not ideal when your interviewee gets broadcast to the whole place – luckily there was no Gordon Brown moment! I intended using a shotgun mic with deadcat into a H4N but the winds were pretty bad so decided to record straight into the mk3 with a windjammer and that did the trick. Boosting the level in the G3’s and lowering the level right down in camera works a treat.
