The new office – Creative Exchange Leith

A few months ago I heard about Creative Exchange which is new office space in Leith, Edinburgh run by Edinburgh Council. After checking it out it was a no brainer – the space is huge and the old exposed metal beams sold the place immediately. It’s aimed at new start ups, Freelances and small businesses working within the creative industries. Besides the massive potential for collaborating with other businesses here, the building is also getting super fast 100gb broadband which was also a massive appeal. Upload speeds will be around 20gb which means uploading videos will take no time.

Current tenants already include PR & Marketing companies, graphics designers, web developers, video production companies, web designers, Creative Edinburgh, Iglu Studio, Business Gateway, The Social Taylor (Colin Gilchrist), Visual Harmonic, Border Crossing Media, Lux, John Duncan Photography, Voluntary Arts Scotland and Edinburgh college.
