Several years ago I was involved in filming & editing a pilot called Clanlands featuring Outlander Star Sam Heughan & Graham McTavish. Fast forward a year and it’s now in the final stages of editing by a production company in the states. The show which was picked up by Starz is now called Men In Kilts and will be released in February 21.
It was great to get out and about after the first lockdown to film this. It was shot all over Scotland over 3 weeks. We travelled from Edinburgh to Fife, all the way up to the highlands and beyond to the Outer Hebrides.

Men in Kilts is created by and stars Outlander’s Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish.
The eight-part series will see the pair travel around their home country of Scotland, exploring Scottish history and culture.
Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham will also see Sam and Graham learning from the locals and searching the incredible landscape.
For example, they will visit the mountains of Glencoe, Inverness and the famous Culloden battlefield.
They will also travel by sea, visit castles and wear kilts in the process.
